ATEN's new ALTUSEN 16-port KVM On the Net offers a highly efficient network management solution. In addition to its console ports for local management, the KN9116's built-in LAN port provides network administrators the ability to access computers from any station connected to the network, whether from the LAN, WAN, or the Internet. There is no need to pre-install any software; simply load your browser and launch the Windows/Java Client from within the browser to access your KN9116.
Specially designed high density console connectors allow a 16-port KVM switch to be installed into a 1U high rack space, and control up to 128 computers by cascading.
The KN9116 offers many advanced features such as an intuitive OSD (On Screen Display), Hot Keys, excellent video resolutions, Multi-Session visual capability, flash ROM for firmware upgrades, and remote console access.
The KN9116 also offers key attributes including a 3-Year product warranty, 2-level password security for administration of user rights,128-bit SSL encryption, IP and MAC Filters, and Automatic Logout for protection during idle sessions.

For the Windows Client, you must have DirectX 7.0 or higher installed
For Java Client, you must have Sun's Java 2 (1.4 or higher) runtime environments installed
Browsers must be 128-bit encryption enabled
