What is the SkiveTek^®?

SkiveTek^®is one of the worlds most advanced technologies. It is a new concept and permits the production of heat sinks with a precise and super fine detail previously considered impossible. Base plate and fins are constructed out of one piece of 99.5% pure aluminum by cutting the material in thin layers, bending the fins in place. For processors below 3.06 Ghz:

When using the Nexus PHT-3600 SkiveTek with Intel Pentium processors with a speed lower than 3.06 GHz you can use a Noise Reduction Cable (Nexus NRC-1000) in combination with the PHT-3600. This noise reduction cable brings the fan voltage down from 12 Volt to 10 Volt and consequentially brings the fan speed down. The standard fan speed of the fan equipped is 2500 RPM (+- 10%) when using the noise reduction cable the fan speed is lowered to 1930 RPM (+- 10%).
This lower RPM level results in an ever lower noise production!
